The Punks ganan EP was already a fairly convincing affair with its crafty brand of raw crasher hardcore for the unwashed and this LP sees them back to work, building on similar sacred grounds with an angrier, more ferocious and relentless sound reminiscent of the classic noizy Japanese vibe of FEROCIOUS X or D-CLONE or indeed FRAMTID or a metal-free LIFE. You know the drill. You’ve got those trademark manic drum rolls with a sound texture that works as measuring stick and dog whistle for fans of the genre and the singer is busy spitting out words of political anger and doesn’t hide behind a zillion effects.
