SOLPAATOS HAD A LOVING SOUND OF FINNIISH RAW PUNK WITH A STRONG INFLUENCE FROM 80'S FINNISH HARDCORE PUNK, BUT THIS NEWLY FORMED VANSUUT IS MORE INCLINED TOWARDS 70s/80S FINNISH PUNK ROCK FROM HARDCORE TO PUNK ROCK! The shock of witnessing VANSUUT's first live performance in Tokyo last October is still fresh in my memory, but I was looking forward to the long-awaited new sound source! !! In 2020, a new PUNK ROCK BAND was born in Niigata. ITS NAME IS VÄNSUT. "Niigata", "dots on A"... If you have a good intuition, PUNKS will have a verse that comes to mind. Right! TWO MEMBERS OF SOLPÄÄTOS STARTED A NEW PUNK BAND. IT IS SIMILAR TO SOLPÄÄTOS IN THAT TAKAHIRO, A FINNISH PUNK FANATIC, TAKES THE HELM, ACTS AS GUITAR VOCALIST, AND PLAYS FINNISH PUNK. SOLPÄÄTOS IS AN 80'S PUNK/HARDCORE STYLE SUCH AS APPENDNX AND POHJASAKKA, WHILE VÄNSUT IS A 70'S PUNK STYLE SUCH AS RATSIA AND VAAVI. THESE TWO SIMILAR STYLES DIFFERENTIATE VÄNSUUT FROM SOLPÄÄTOS!
There is no doubt that the influence of FINNISH PUNK is great, but while they do not crack down the band they respect, they also feel the "innocence" that is FINNISH PUNK's personal charm PURE PUNK ROCK BAND as of 2022 via RAW HARDCORE PUNK.
