V/A - Valladolid 83 tape

There was a time when the councils paid for recordings to bands supporting the local culture. This is the case of VALLADOLID 83, a compilation album recorded at TRACK studios in Madrid under the command of Eugenio Muñoz and pressed by CBS RECORDS for release by the Valladolid City Council with incredible cover design by Manuel Sincretico. PUNK and NEW-WAVE sounds in a document that opens the doors to an underground Valladolid from the early 80s. Within the album, the mix of sounds that goes through New Wave punk very much in the vein of Golpes Bajos or Purrkur Pillnikk from ANALGESICOS, the fantastic synth-pop of OBJECTIVO PERDIDO in the vein of ESPLENDOR GEOMETRICO, the raw and accelerated punk of DISIDENTES (undoubtedly best of this compilation, without detracting from the other bands) and the more punk sound and something dub that leaves reminiscences of The Clash by REFLEJOS. 3 songs per band, recovered in cassette format keeping the original artwork of the LP.
