SLIGHT SLAPPERS—a band that continues to embody the "powerviolence" genre both in Japan and across the globe—have released *CUT OFF CHAINS*, their first standalone release in approximately eight years, as a double-CD set via Less Than TV.
While they previously released material through Less Than TV—specifically a 2018 split release with the Nagoya-based surf-punk duo SOCIAL PORKS—this marks their first standalone release on the label. *CUT OFF CHAINS* features a total of 14 tracks spread across two discs. It serves as the final recording to feature original members SEIJI (guitar) and ISA (bass), both of whom departed the band in 2025.
