Peru has always been fertile for grind. Ever since the late 80's, with Atrofia Cerebral at the forefront, a relatively small cast of characters has been pumping out grindcore, noisecore, goregrind, every manner of grinding your eardrums. A couple guys but lots of bands with lots of obscure demos and rehearsal recordings. A few of us have gathered together to put arguably the best obscurity onto a 7".
Materia Organica's 1991 demo tape is one of the highlights of obscure South American grindcore. Before Dios Hastio, before Hadez, a couple teens got together to put down 9 tracks, 10 minutes of piss raw, shit brutal, fucked up GRINDCORE, complete with a Siege cover because you know these guys were (and still are!) tape trade maniacs.
