To be released on 21 March, Minä vai jäät is the first full-length of All Vain Dreams. The songs on the album were written during the spring of 2024. They have been made together, and everyone has had space to try new things and bring their own ideas to the songs. The friendship and fun of the band members can be heard throughout the album, even though the themes of the songs are more serious this time.
The album deals with being an outsider, being afraid of being left alone, and living in the midst of constant change. The songs reflect on relationships and parenthood, balancing between courage and defending one's own values in workplace break rooms and self-control, keeping face and pleasing others. The album is also a story about how you can break down but still manage. The title of the album, on the other hand, comes from the song Jäähyväiset, which ponders which breaks first: the narrator of the song or the spring ice.
